Healthy dalia & moong Khichdi

Ingredients:

Daliya: 30g
Green Moong dal : 15g
Yellow moong dal : 15g
Tomato: 20g
Onion: 20g
Peas: 10g
Oil- 1/2tsp
Salt- to taste
Turmeric- a pinch
Cumin seeds- a pinch

Method:

  • Soak the dals and daliya in 1 cup water for 10-15 mins and then drain the water.
  • In a pressure cooker, pour the oil and add cumin seeds and let them pop.
  • Add the veggies and the spices to cook. Then add washed dals & daliya to the mixture.
  • Add 3 cups of water to the mixture and pressure cook for 3 whistles or till daliya cooks completely.
  • Once the steam is released, open the cooker and serve the khichdi with 1 katori curd/ 1 glass buttermilk.
