Chilly Tofu

Ingredients:

  • 100g tofu
  • 1 chopped capsicum
  • 1 small, crushed ginger
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small-sized chopped onion
  • 1 medium size chopped tomato
  • ¼ tsp red chili powder
  • Salt & crushed black pepper to taste
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp oil

Method:

  • Take a non-stick pan & heat it. Make sure you don’t overheat it, just heat it for about 30 sec on a low flame
  • When it is heated enough, add oil. 
  • Now add crushed ginger, garlic cloves, chopped onion to the pan & mix these three ingredients.
  • Now cover the pan with a plate for about 45 sec on a low flame.
  • Now add chopped capsicum & mix well. 
  • Now it’s time to add tomatoes, make sure that you add tomatoes at the last give it to a good mix & then cover the pan with a plate for about 1 min on a low flame.
  • Then add chopped tofu or you can also crushed it. 
  • Now cover it with a plate for about 1 min & let it cook on a low flame.
  • Now add some spices like black pepper, salt & red chili powder.
  • Mix all the spices & cover it with a plate & let it cook for about 2 min on a low flame.
  • Your tasty Chilly tofu is ready to eat. Serve it hot.
