Kabuli Chana Quesadilla

Ingredients:

  • Boiled kabuli chana- 30g
  • 1 Egg [omelet] -20g
  • Slice cheese-15g
  • 1 wheat tortilla/chapati-20g
  • Onion-20g
  • Capsicum-20
  • Carrot-20g
  • Coriander leaves-5g
  • Green chili 1
  • Garlic- 2 cloves
  • Chili flakes-1 tsp
  • Oregano-1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1 tsp
  • Salt-as per taste
  • Oil-5g
  •

Method:

  • Heat up oil in a pan and add in chopped garlic, green chilli and onion. Let it cook until translucent.
  • Now add all other chopped vegetables, and saute for a minute.
  • To that add boiled and smashed kabuli chana, and all the spices and mix well. Let it cook for 1-2 mins.
  • Take a whole wheat chapati/tortilla, layer it with egg, then add kabuli chana filling, and grate a little cheese over it. 
  • Now fold the tortilla and toast both sides until it becomes crispy and serve hot.
