Bajra onion muthias

Ingredients:

  • Bajra flour – 1 cup,
  • Onions chopped – 1 small
  • Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
  • Chilli powder – as per taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds – ½ tablespoon
  • Ginger-green chilli paste
  • Baking soda – ½ teaspoon
  • Salt and oil – as required

Method:

  • Combine all ingredients and mix well and knead into a semi-soft dough
  • Apply a little oil and shape into cylindrical
  • Steam them for 10 to 12 minutes and cut into slices
  • Heat the remaining oil in a nonstick pan and add the cumin seeds
  • Shallow fry the pieces in oil and season with toasted sesame seeds
  • Serve hot garnished with coriander
