Moong dal chicken pizza

Ingredients:

  • Green moong dal – 1 cup, 
  • Oats [powdered] – 2 tsp,
  • Chicken – 50g,
  • Chilli powder – 1 tsp,
  •  Garam masala – 1 tsp,
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp,
  • Curd – 1 tsp,
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp,
  • Onion – 1 [chopped],
  • Carrot – ½ [grated],
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp,
  • Capsicum – 2 tsp [little pieces],
  • Grated paneer/cheese – 2 tbsp,
  •  Pepper powder – 1 tsp,
  • Salt – to taste,
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  •  Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
  •  Oregano – 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Soak 1 cup green moong dal overnight
  2. Next morning add little water and oats and grind it into paste.
  3. Add little salt and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. In a bowl add chicken, chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, curd, pepper powder and salt and marinate for 30 – 40 minutes.
  5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add the marinated chicken and cook well on each side until lightly golden and cut into small pieces.
  6. In a bowl add carrot, chicken, onion, capsicum and coriander leaves, black pepper powder and salt and mix everything well.
  7. On a tawa / pan add little ghee or oil and flatten the mixture to form the base.
  8. Add the toppings and grated paneer/cheese and sprinkle herbs and chilli flakes. Cover it with a lid for few minutes and the pizza is ready to serve.
