Grilled mango chutney

উপকরণ:

  • 1 slightly ripe raw mango, peeled and seed removed
  • ¼ cup jaggery
  • ¼ cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green bell pepper (capsicum)
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • ½ teaspoon dry ginger powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon finely chopped fresh coriander

পদ্ধতি:

  • Place a grill rack over gas burner and place the peeled mango on the grill rack, about 4–6 inches from the heat source
  • Grill for 2–3 minutes on each side, turning occasionally, until slightly browned and softened.
  • Remove the mango and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Chop into small chunks
  • Transfer the chopped mango to a bowl. Add sugar, red onion, lemon juice, green bell pepper, fresh ginger, ground ginger, ground cloves, and coriander
  • Mix well to combine.
  • Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour, allowing the sugar to dissolve and flavours to blend
  • Serve chilled as a relish with any main course dish
